.. COME...QUIETEN YOUR SOULS
(Dedicated to the peace of our Caribbean Nations)
And so, I quieted, my weary soul
Raging, for the senseless-loss of life:
Dispirited young men-
Shackled by searing variables
' Midst poor parenting-strife:
So... I quieted, My Soul.
O fissured nations; Leave negative alleys
That bid you:Ugly your souls.
Leave bathos' din-
Batten down, tempting sins.
Yield not, your sacred-treasured dowry:
Come... Quieten, Your Soul.
And so I quickened, my prayers
And bade angels, to stand by-
No! Hasten,,,Quickly!
We need you, by our sides.
Come Cherished-Beings; Bolster, we betide:
That We May...Quieten Our Souls.
No subtle evils: No fears
No fertile doubts.
O placidly now...Sweet-Love, envoke.
Come, come now:
Come...Let Us, Quieten, Our Souls.
